About yab Interpreter
yab is a BASIC dialect for the Be Operating System (BeOS), Haiku and ZETA. It is an improved version of
Yabasic by Marc-Oliver Ihm.
Yabasic is available for MS Windows, Linux and in a special version for the Playstation 2.

yab contains all commands of Yabasic, except for the special graphics and printing
commands. These are NOT supported.
Instead, yab offers many new commands specifically designed for BeOS using the BeAPI.
yab offers new commands for:
opening, closing, using windows
multiple views with easy access to
buttons, checkboxes, radiobuttons, etc.
list boxes, drop boxes, menus, etc.
graphic primitives
much, much more
yab comes with an integrated development environment (IDE), documentation and a lot of examples that will help the programming newbies.
